摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a Bi<SB>12</SB>TiO<SB>20</SB>sintered compact into the one capable of realizing high sensitivity as a photoconductive layer composing a radiation image pickup panel of recording radiation image information as an electrostatic latent image. <P>SOLUTION: In the Bi<SB>12</SB>TiO<SB>20</SB>sintered compact, in such a manner that the content of Al becomes &le;80 ppm, the Bi<SB>12</SB>TiO<SB>20</SB>powder to be sintered is obtained by mixing a mixed solution of a bismuth source and a titanium source with an alkali aqueous solution, so as to obtain a Bi<SB>12</SB>TiO<SB>20</SB>precursor, and subjecting the Bi<SB>12</SB>TiO<SB>20</SB>precursor to hydrothermal treatment at pH &ge;13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
