<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation lid of a teacup, which is full of heat insulation property though constituted in light weight and at a low cost and also can prevent dripping from a used tea bag. <P>SOLUTION: The heat insulation lid 1 is used by being put on the teacup at the time of extracting tea with the tea bag. A plurality of water absorptive thin paper sheets 14 are piled up, at least partially exposed or made exposable, and provided inside a cup covering part 11 for covering the teacup A of the heat insulation lid 1.
