PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain satisfactory conduction between a grounding plate and a pivot in a drum unit. SOLUTION: The grounding plate is used for the drum unit provided with a drum pipe stock 31 having apertures at both ends and flange members 34 press-fitted into the apertures 33 of the drum pipe stock 31, and having protrusions 36 protruding axially to the inner surface on the press-fitted side and is equipped with a circular base material 38, a first pawl member 42, and a fold 48. The circular base material 38 has a mounting hole 39 at its center, has a groove to which the protrusions 36 of the flange members 34 can be engaged, and is a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the drum pipe stock 31. The first pawl member 42 is formed by protruding to the outer peripheral side in the outer peripheral part of the circular base material 38 and is electrically conducted to the inner side of the drum pipe stock.
