PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving technology for reducing an error included in an amplification factor determined by a receiver. SOLUTION: A burst signal is received and an AGC section 78 determines an amplification factor for the received burst signal. A VGA section 74 amplifies the received burst signal with the determined amplification factor. In the burst signal, Legacy STS is arranged in the head portion and MIMO-STS is arranged at the post-stage thereof. The AGC section 78 determines a temporary amplification factor at the Legacy STS and decreases the temporary amplification factor.
