PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk, its recording/reproducing device and its recording/reproducing method, with which deterioration of recording/reproducing characteristics is reduced and high density recording/reproducing is made possible. SOLUTION: In an optical disk 1, prepits PP are formed in predetermined positions of a wobbling phase of a groove G, formed at predetermined intervals (for example, 2Tsf) to a synchronous frame cycle Tsf of a synchronous frame SF on an information signal Sd recorded in the groove G, and formed by varying positions so as not to coincide with each other while maintaining the predetermined intervals in both sides of the groove G. The prepits PP are arranged with the phase corresponding to the synchronous code SC position of the synchronous frame SF. The prepits PP are made of the combination of a plurality of bits (for example, two bits of B1 and B2) selected from a plurality of kinds of bit patterns (for example, 2T and 4T) having different lengths X in the track direction for every synchronous frame SF and many pieces of auxiliary information can be formed as the prepits PP.
