PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the use of real time information from many networked sensors. SOLUTION: A sensor network system comprises data collection parts DDS for periodically collecting data from a plurality of sensors, a directory server DRS for managing the location and identifier of the data from the sensors, and event action control parts EAC for monitoring data preset to be monitored out of the data collected from the sensors, and if the data matches a preset monitoring condition, executing preset processing.
