PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having a high storage modulus (G') and a small loss tangent (tanδ). SOLUTION: This rubber composition is composed by compounding 2-60 parts by mass low molecular weight aromatic vinyl compound/conjugated diene compound copolymer (B) having 5-80 mass% aromatic vinyl compound, 5-80 mass% vinyl bonding quantity in its conjugated diene compound part, a weight average molecular weight as polystyrene equivalent of 5,000-500,000 which is measure by gel permeation chromatography, and at least one functional group, to 100 parts by mass rubber component (A) comprising at least one of a natural rubber and a synthetic diene rubber.
