AIR BAG DEVICE

An air bag device capable of preventing a bag from being cracked, broken, or damaged when the bag is deformed. The air bag device constraining an occupant in a vehicle in an emergency comprises the air bag stored therein in a compressed state. A hole is formed in the air bag near a stress concentrating portion. By forming the hole, a stress can be relieved since the hole itself is deformed when the bag is deformed.
