PLATEMAKING METHOD, PLATE CYLINDER, PRINTING MACHINE, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine that cancels an error in the circumferential direction during platemaking.

SOLUTION: The printing machine is equipped with: a motor 16 which drives to rotate a cylindrical plate cylinder 1 where a scale 9 is written that indicates the angular position information at the time of writing a pattern 5 written at each angular position; a CCD camera 11 to read out the scale 9; and a control unit 19 to control a feed distance of the plate cylinder 1 based on the number of detected pulses obtained by the CCD camera 11.
