<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure printing device which can be manufactured at a low cost and can be remarkably improved in exposure printing performance, and also to provide an exposure printing method. <P>SOLUTION: Light is emitted from a light emitting diode or EL element with emission timing and/or emission pattern of the light emitting diode 12 or EL element controlled by a controlling portion 16. The light emitted from the light emitting diode or EL element is projected on a member 20 whereon information is to be printed by means of a projection lens 22.
