<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door with a simple constitution which can hold a door at an opening end position or a closing end position. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 23 is located inside an outer rail 6 of a linear motor 3 in a non-contact state to a permanent magnet block 12 constituting a moving piece 5 of the linear motor 3 so as to hold the door 2 at the opening end position OP or the closing end position CP. The door 2 can be held at the opening end position OP or the closing end position CP by attraction force between the permanent magnet 23 and the farthest end part of the permanent magnet block 12. Accordingly, even if the linear motor 3 is not horizontal and mounted in a lowered state of the closing end position CP side or the opening end position OP side, it is possible to prevent the door 2 from moving from the closing end position CP or the opening end position OP by the dead-weight of the door 2. The constitution of the automatic door can be simplified by utilizing the permanent magnet block 12 of the moving piece 5 without providing an attracting part and a part to be attracted respectively to the door 2 and the fixed side such as a door frame like a conventional one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
