CANCER IMMUNOTHERAPEUTIC AGENT USING NOTCH LIGAND, DELTA AND JAGGED AND THEIR GENE EXPRESSION CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish an immunotherapy as a new treating method different from the action mechanisms of conventional anti-cancer agents, because long period cures can not be expected only by conventional chemical therapies, and to establish a safe and effective cancer immunotherapy to break the present states lacking a determined technique for treating and recurrence-preventing solid cancers such as kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer or progressive lung cancer, lymphoma, and the like.

SOLUTION: This immunotherapeutic agent uses dendritic cells under the expression increase of Deltal 1 and/or Delta 2 gene of Notch ligand and the expression control of Jagged 1 and/or Jagged 2 genes. Furthermore, the immunotherapeutic agent uses the expression vector of the gene, shRNA-expressing vector, virus obtained by packaging the vector DNAs, a fused protein of Delta1 with Fc of IgG, or the like.
