<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system with power generation efficiency improved through an appropriate cooling temperature control of a fuel cell in accordance with its output. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with: a fuel cell 10 generating electric energy by electrochemical reaction of air and hydrogen; cooling means 40 to 46 cooling the fuel cell 10; cooling volume adjustment means 41, 42, 45, output detecting means 11, 12 detecting an output of the fuel cell 10; and a target cooling temperature deciding means 50 setting a higher target cooling temperature as an output of the fuel cell 10 gets higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
