<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refilling method for a developing cartridge for easily recharging toner, thereby forming an excellent image when the developing cartridge is reused. <P>SOLUTION: The developing cartridge 21 (Y) (M, C, or K) whose remaining toner is extracted in an extraction stage is weighed in a weighing stage to measure the weight of the remaining toner (S2). When it is decided in a decision stage that the weight of the remaining toner is not less than 17g (S3: NO), the process is returned to the extraction stage (S1) and said processes are repeated until the weight of the remaining toner becomes not less than 17g. When it is decided that the weight of the remaining toner is not more than 17g (S3: YES), it is decided what color of toner is charged (S4), and toner of the same color as the decided color or a deeper color is re-charged in the developing cartridge 21 (Y) (M, C, or K) (S5, S8, S12 and S16). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
