<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of information such as various pieces of setting information about an image forming apparatus, software, user data and job information. <P>SOLUTION: At least information, the security of which has to be secured, among the pieces of information about the image forming apparatus is deleted after being backed up to a server from a storage device which is provided in the image forming apparatus.
