<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna height calculation apparatus capable of simply calculating the required antenna sea-level height of a radio station which is necessary to secure the unobstructed view of a propagation line, capable of providing a radio line by a suitable antenna height, and thereby capable of shortening time up to the open of the line and performing efficient capital investment. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna height calculation apparatus is provided with a keyboard 42 for inputting respective antenna sea-level height data of two radio stations, the sea-level height data of an unobstructed view shield on a propagation line between the two radio stations, distance data between the two radio stations, distance data between one radio station and the shield, and equivalent earth radius data, and a CPU 45 for calculating the ridge diffraction height of the shield by using respective data inputted from the keyboard 42 and then calculating the required antenna sea-level height of the other radio station against the antenna sea-level height of one radio station by using the ridge diffraction height of the shield. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
