<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain joint structure capable of utilizing a siphon flow when rainwater is drained and retarding the suction of air into a drain vertical tube. <P>SOLUTION: In a drain system for draining water in a drain horizontal tube 2 from the drain vertical tube 1 by connecting them, the upper part of the vertical tube 1 to the horizontal tube 2 through a drain joint 3. The drain joint 3 comprises an upwardly opening open port 4, a downward reduced outflow port 5, and a flow passage 6 gradually reduced in diameter from the opening port 4 and connecting the opening port to the outflow port. A plate 7 covering the opening port 4 is disposed slightly apart from the opening port 4 in plan view to form a clearance 8 therebetween. The water flows horizontally through the clearance 8 formed between t he plate 7 and the opening port 4, flows in the vertical tube 1 in a vertical flow, and is discharged to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
