PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a record medium which can realize up-date of graphics synchronized with display of a picture even if a data amount to be written in a graphics plane is large.

SOLUTION: A recording medium storing an AVClip is structured by multiplexing a video stream and a graphics stream. The graphics stream is data for making a plurality of pictures constituting a moving picture synthesize graphics. The graphics stream has window information (WDS) that specifies a part of plane memory corresponding to an entire of one picture as a window for graphics display, and indicates a position, a height and a width of the window on a plane.
