<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a station monitoring system capable of monitoring a signal on which the image quality of a received image is directly reflected in the case of relaying digital waves. <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit 43 monitors the C/N ratio and the BER value on the basis of an output from a demodulation integrated circuit 42 so as to always monitor whether or not the C/N ratio and the BER value indicate any abnormity. For example, when the C/N ratio and the BER value consecutively indicate any abnormity, the control circuit 43 generates an abnormity signal, and when the C/N ratio and the BER value indicate no abnormity, the control circuit 43 discriminates that broadcasting is normally in operation. The control circuit 43 outputs the C/N ratio, the BER value, and its discrimination result or the like as above to a transmission medium 49 as evaluation results associated with the operating state so as to transmit the results to a management control center 50 via a packet communication channel PN. The management control center 50 can grasp individual operating states of relay stations 20, 30(1) to 30(n) in real time on the basis of the evaluation results detected by station monitor apparatuses 40(1) to 40(m). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
