<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent trouble that communication equipment at a receiving side is malfunctioned by an adverse effect caused by correcting a bias level if any fault occurs in a communication bus, while maintaining the bias level of the communication bus at a normal value while the communication bus is normal. <P>SOLUTION: While a communication bus 10 is normal, the state of a current flowing through the communication bus 10 is detected by a current detection circuit 24 and a bias correction circuit 25 is operated based on a result of the detection, so that the bias level is prevented from being reduced by a leakage current if any communication node is powered off. If any fault such as disconnection occurs in a first line 11 or a second line 12 constituting the communication bus 10, that fault is detected by a reception determination circuit 26, and correction operation due to the bias correction circuit 25 is prohibited by a bias correction prohibit circuit 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
