METHOD FOR PRODUCING ARAMID DOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively producing an aramid dope from aramid fiber wastes and to thereby provide a method for effectively reutilizing the aramid fiber wastes.

SOLUTION: The drawn aramid fiber wastes generated in a process of producing and/or processing aramid fibers are brought into contact and mixed with an amide solvent containing an inorganic salt. The resultant mixture is then kneaded under a shear stress and thereby dissolved in the amide solvent.
