<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous and thermally effective process for pulverization treatment of a large amount of waste plastics by heating and fusing waste plastics under sufficient mixing, then cooling, solidification and pulverization to give a raw material to blow in a furnace to give a pulverized raw material product. <P>SOLUTION: A process for the treatment of waste plastics, characterized by fusing and extruding waste plastics with extruders, followed by cooling and solidifying, to give a solid mass and then pulverizing the solidified mass is used. It is preferred that an extruder has a first extruding part for removing moisture from the waste plastics and a second extruding part for removing hydrogen chloride, and further that the process uses a first extruder for heating the waste plastic to remove moisture and a second extruder for heating a molten plastics extruded from the first extruder, to remove hydrogen chloride, and a pulverizer for crashing fused and dechlorinated plastics extruded from the second extruder after cooling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
