PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyer capable of securely presenting guide broadcast of doorways to passengers without giving them discomfort while adapting to the environmental noises of a railway station platform without being affected by the surrounding circumstances and capable of being realized with a comparatively simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: In the passenger conveyer in a railway station platform provided with a voice guidance broadcast device 5 for voice guiding the surrounding circumstances at the time of operating, the voice guidance broadcast device 5 is composed of a microphone 2 for detecting the surrounding noises, a main body part 3 provided with a means 3C1 for comparing the noises detected by the microphone 2 with a predetermined fixed sound volume of environmental noises, detecting increase/decrease of the surrounding noises, and adjusting a broadcast sound volume to a predetermined guide sound volume according to the detected result, and a speaker 4 for outputting the broadcast sound volume adjusted to the guide sound volume to the passengers.
