PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge in which movement of a braking member is regulated while movement of a reel is regulated in a state in which the reel cannot be rotated. SOLUTION: The reel 40 is energized downward through the braking member 80 by a compression coil spring 78. That is, a braking gear 82 of the braking member 80 is engaged strongly with an engaging gear 54 in a reel hub 42 by energizing force of the compression coil spring 78, and careless rotation of the reel 40 is obstructed. And a lock member 90 is energized toward a diameter direction outside from a center of an attaching part 60 by energizing force of the coil spring 58, and its engaging part 96 is engaged to an upper edge part of the reel hub 42. That is, the outside plane excluding a taper plane 96A of the engaging part 96 presses an inner peripheral plane of the reel hub 42, an edge part 92A of the diameter direction outside more than the engaging part 96 of a main body part 92 is arranged between an upper flange 44 upper plane and a top plate 14A inner plane, rotation of the reel 40 is obstructed, while movement of the diameter direction and the axis direction of the reel 40 is regulated.
