PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall-down preventing device for an apparatus with which installation work can be performed with improved workability, even if the device has already been installed, or a building structure or a structural object that cannot be moved or eliminated exists on the side of an installation object area. SOLUTION: The fall-down preventing device comprises a base plate to be fixed firmly on the installation floor face at a stage before an apparatus is carried in; a support frame which is previously firmly fixed to the base plate and is provided with a guide rail on which a seat board part of a support leg is placed; a rear end part stopper which covers the rear end part of the support frame, and is firmly fixed on the support frame beforehand, and for which a shaft part of a rear support leg engages with a split groove of an upper plate part; and the remaining part of the upper plate parts at the both sides of the split groove faces the upper face of the seat board part, and a front end part stopper which covers the front end part of the support frame and is fixed firmly on the base plate at a stage after the apparatus body moves along the guide rail to a rear predetermined position, and for which the shaft part of the front support leg engages with the split groove of the upper face of the plate part and the remaining parts of the upper face of the plate part at both sides of the split groove face the upper face of the seat board part.
