PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder, which does not require a high-precision scale even if high resolution printing is made and measures high-precision ink discharge timing. SOLUTION: A rectangular wave 5A is an output waveform by an internal clock when 150 dpi resolution printing is made. A period of the rectangular wave 5A shown by an arrow 5AT is made equal to an average time for a conveyor belt to move a printing spacing in a 150 dpi resolution. On the other hand, a rectangular wave 5B is an output waveform by an internal clock when 600 dpi resolution printing is made. A period of the rectangular wave 5B shown by an arrow 5BT is 150/600 times the average time. Regardless of the printing resolution, the internal clock of ink discharge is created on the basis of the average time when the conveyor belt moves the printing space in low resolution, so that high-resolution printing is made even in the average time when the conveyor belt moves the space in the low resolution.
