PHOTOGRAPHING SYSTEM

A photographing system capable of capturing a photographed image by taking a picture of an object and preparing a background-replaced image in which the background in the photographed image is naturally replaced with a desired background. The photographing system comprises a digital camera (11) for capturing a photographed image by taking a picture of an object, a flash light emitting device (12) for sending a flash light toward the object, an EL panel (130) for illuminating the object with a light from a surface positioned opposite to the digital camera (11) across the object, and a personal computer (20) for capturing a plurality of photographed images obtained by photographing a common object by the digital camera (11) under a plurality of photographing light conditions respectively produced by the flash light emitting device (12) and the EL panel (130), discriminating between the object and the background in an photographed image based on these plurality of photographed images, and functioning as a background replacing device for replacing its background with another background.
