<p>It is possible to provide a method for easily preventing or suppressing a magnetic flux creep phenomenon of a superconducting magnet and to provide a superconducting magnet device having such an effect. When exciting a superconducting magnet, the magnetic flux distribution in the superconducting magnet is deformed in advance into such a shape that the magnetic flux creep is substantially not caused. Thus, the superconducting magnet excitation method and device control a magnetic field outside the superconducting magnet. More specifically, for example, when the superconducting magnet is formed by a bias magnet as an external layer and a magnet as an internal layer, initial oscillation current is applied to the magnet of the internal layer while a magnetic field is applied to the external magnet. Next, the current is set to a predetermined value or a magnetic field higher than a predetermined magnetic field is applied to the magnet of the external layer when current is applied to the magnet of the internal layer. Next, the magnetic field of the magnet of the external layer is set to a predetermined magnetic field.</p> |
