<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal processing device and an image signal processing method for enabling display configuration having more high flexibility to be realized, when an OSD image by a digital image signal is to be displayed after being overlapped with a display image of an analog television broadcasting. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a first scaling processing means 77a for performing a first scaling process to the digital image signal digitized from an input analog image signal, a second scaling processing means 77b for performing a second scaling process to an OSD signal, adding means 77c for adding the OSD signal performed the second scaling process to the digital image signal performed the first scaling process, and scaling data changing means (17, 59) for changing the display configuration of the digital image signal and the OSD signal by varying respective pieces of scaling data providing to the first and second scaling processes based on a predetermined operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
