<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image drawing apparatus and an image drawing method, which can draw a desired image in which occurrence of jaggies is reduced without decreasing the drawing speed. <P>SOLUTION: The array pitch between image drawing element dots (41), the swath tilt angle (θs), the image drawing pitch between image drawing dots in the y direction, or the phase difference between image drawing positions in the y direction of adjacent image drawing dots that are formed in a direction substantially perpendicular to the y direction is adjusted according to an image pattern so that the jaggy pitch or the jaggy amplitude of jaggies is reduced to a predetermined value or less to produce a good image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
