PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route retrieval apparatus capable of displaying advertisement information on stores in the vicinity of routes.

SOLUTION: From a map information database 311, a route retrieval part 33 of a route retrieval server 3 acquires direct route information indicating a direct route from a departure location indicated by received departure location information to a destination indicated by a receive destination information. From an advertisement information database 312, an advertisement information retrieval part 34 reads advertisement information in which the distance from the direct route, the departure location, or the destination to a location indicated by store position informationsatisfies prescribed conditions. Since the acquired direct route information and the read advertisement information are transmitted to a user terminal 21, it is possible to display advertisement information on stores in the vicinity of routes on the user terminal 21.
