<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization method in an optical access network for giving a connection start time of an upload optical switch element of an optical switch apparatus, the optical switch apparatus, a center apparatus, a remote apparatus, an optical access system, the optical access network, a program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A ranging function is given to the optical switch apparatus, and the center apparatus OLU conducts the ranging of the optical switch apparatus OSM, as well as the ranging of the remote apparatus ONU. The center apparatus OLU tells the difference between the reciprocating time of the remote apparatus ONU and the reciprocating time of the optical switch apparatus OSM, resulting from their rangings to the optical switch apparatus OSM, and the optical switch apparatus OSM acquires the connection starting time of the ascent optical switch element, by calculating the connection start time by using this difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
