<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidification controller for an image forming apparatus capable of carrying out dehumidification in such a state that the efficiency of using electric power is enhanced even if a power switch is turned on. <P>SOLUTION: The humidification controller for the image forming apparatus is provided with: a main control means 1 for controlling an image forming operation and a saved power operation by the image forming apparatus; a dehumidification control means 3 for adjusting the humidity of the principal parts of the image forming apparatus by a dehumidifying heater 6; and a first control power source P2 for supplying electric power for control to the main control means 1 and the dehumidification control means 3. Also the dehumidification controller is provided with a power supply control means 10 which supplies the electric power for control to the dehumidification control means 3 at a predetermined time to perform the dehumidification control and cuts off the supply of the electric power for control at a predetermined timing, in spite of the non-operative state of the main control means 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
