<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage patient/department-specific article use information in association with patient information and treatment information in a hospital network. <P>SOLUTION: A HOSPION(R) server receives at least patient information, patient movement information and treatment request information from a hospital server via the network to database the patient information and patient movement information along with the treatment request information, extracts department-specific patient information from the patient information and patient movement information to send it to an Omnicell cabinet installed in each department via the network, and when receiving update information on article use information about the Omnicell cabinet, generates a flow transaction and sends it to the hospital server to update article use information in the hospital server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
