PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading/reproducing apparatus capable of reducing an installation area and being excellent in miniaturization and operability so as to be installed on a desk and easily used. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a scanner unit consisting of an original document platen for placing an original document and an original document reading means having an optical means having the original document platen and reading an original document; a sheet supporting means for supporting a sheet for recording an image; an image recording means provided on the upper side part of the original document reading means and recording an image on the sheet supported by the sheet supporting means; and a sheet discharging means for discharging the sheet having the image recorded by the image recording means to the upper part of the original document reading means.
