PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally provide an improved portable electronic terminal. SOLUTION: In the processing method of a predetermined event of a first routine from among a plurality of routines preserved in the portable electronic terminal, the portable electronic terminal comprises an output device, as well as a processing device and the first routine is provided with a multitude of first output setting, while a second routine is constituted so as to be capable of being adjusted between a normal mode and at least a first alternative mode; and in this case, at least the first alternative mode is provided with a multitude of alternative output settings while the portable electronic terminal is constituted so as to process the predetermined event of the first routine in accordance with the first output setting, when the second routine is the normal mode. This method comprises the detection (104) of generation of a predetermined event of the first routine, decision (108) that the second routine is in at least the first alternative mode and the procession (116) of the predetermined event, in accordance with the alternative output setting after responding to the decision.
