PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for increasing an exchange calorific value of a slantingly arranged air heat exchanger. SOLUTION: This heat source unit 1 of the air conditioner has the air heat exchanger 5 for condensing and liquefying a refrigerant compressed by a compressor by cooling the refrigerant by the air, water sprinkling headers 18 and 19 for sprinkling cooling water from above on the air heat exchanger 5, and an outdoor fan 15 arranged above the air heat exchanger 5 and inducing the air to the air heat exchanger 5 by sending out the air upward; and is formed by slantingly arranging the air heat exchanger 5b; and is characterized by arranging a sprinkling water cooler 26 for cooling the air and cooling the cooling water flowing under the inclined air heat exchanger 5b.
