PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a lens drive device by relieving stresses acting on the connecting parts of a plate spring with a holder and fixing members, the plate spring being used to elastically support a holder holding a lens, thereby preventing buckling of the plate spring. SOLUTION: The holder for holding the lens, to which an annular drive coil is attached, and the upper and lower fixing members are movably supported by the plate spring 15, in which the connection parts 15p with an internal circumference part 15a formed by three notches 15k surrounded by two arcuate gentle curves provided every 120°and the connection parts 15q with an external circumferential part 15 are connected by gentle curves. This distributes stresses applied to an area in the vicinity of each connecting part 15p of the plate spring 15 with the holder and an area in the vicinity of each connecting part 15q of the plate spring 15 with the upper and lower fixing members.
