PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a liquid developing device which does not cause faulty cleaning and failure in an image by supplying cleaning liquid to the cleaning device without providing a cleaning liquid supply device extra or a channel for supplying cleaning liquid extra. SOLUTION: The cleaning device is equipped with a storage chamber T for storing liquid developer A recovered from the surface of a developing roller 52 by a cleaning blade 56.
