摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing and calibrating method of a standard sample capable of imparting accurate calibration quantity by reducing the irregularity of the calibration quantity caused by the acoustic characteristic distribution present in a sample in a case that a material having a stria is used as the standard sample in the absolute calibration of a characteristic analyzer of an ultrasonic material. SOLUTION: The sample having a substrate surface vertical to a striated surface is prepared, and a bulk wave sonic speed [longitudinal wave sonic speed, horizontal wave sonic speed (a polarized wave direction is parallel to the striated surface)] in the propagation direction, which is parallel to the striated surface with respect to the sample, and density are measured to determine a sound related physical constant to form the standard sample. Further, the LSAW speed measured value of a part having characteristics equivalent to those of a part where the bulk wave sonic speed is measured is obtained by performing the measurement of the LSAW speed to the standard sample in a case that the calibration quantity of the LSAW speed is determined and the calibration quantity, which is obtained by the comparison of this measured value with the calculated value from the sound related physical constant of the standard sample, can be calculated accurately.
