PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of damaging a crucible and becoming difficult to replace a melting crucible due to biting in a holding crucible, when the melting crucible is softened by a heat cycle in manufacture. SOLUTION: This casting device has the melting crucible 1 having a molten metal outlet port 1a for taking out a silicon molten liquid 3 formed by heating and melting a silicon raw material held inside from a bottom part and composed of a construction material mainly composed of silicon dioxide, the holding crucible 2 for holding the melting crucible 1 from the outside and arranging an opening part 2a larger than this molten metal outlet port 1a in a position of the molten metal outlet port 1a of the melting crucible 1, a heating means 6 for forming the silicon molten liquid 3 by heating and melting the silicon raw material in the melting crucible 1, and a casing mold 9 equipped in a position for taking out the silicon molten liquid 3 taken out of the melting crucible 1; and is constituted so that an edge part of the opening part 2a of the holding crucible 2 has a chamfering part 2b on the side facing the melting crucible 1.
