PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe-jointing method and a pipe member therefor by which eccentricity is not caused in a core-drill pipe in the case of making a hole for jointing a branch pipe to the side wall of a Hume pipe, or for making a hole in a reinforcement concrete wall in order to pass a pipe through it in pipe-laying work. SOLUTION: In a pipe A out of a pair of pipes A and B, an external thread is formed in the tip end part of the pipe member, and the wall-surface of the pipe of the pipe member in the rear part of the external thread part is made inclined backward. In the pipe B, an internal thread is formed in the tip end part of the pipe member, and the wall-surface of the pipe member in the tip end part of the internal thread part is made inclined forward.
