PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose fatty acid ester fiber capable of providing fabrics having excellent bulged feeling, stretch and stiffness. SOLUTION: The cellulose fatty acid ester fiber is composed of a composition containing at least 55-95 wt% cellulose fatty acid ester in which carbon number of at least a part of an acyl group is 3-18 and 5-25 wt% plasticizer and has≥0.02 cN/dtex heat shrinkage peak stress and≥5.0% boiling water shrinkage factor.
