PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a terminal-blocking type polybenzoxazole precursor, by which the uniform polymerization product having a narrow mol. wt. distribution can be produced in a short time, and to provide a terminal-blocking type polybenzoxazole resin, by which the uniform polymerization product having a narrow mol. wt. distribution can be produced in a short time. SOLUTION: This method for producing the terminal-blocking type polybenzoxazole precursor comprises introducing and mixing the first solution containing a diaminophenol compound and the second solution containing a dicarboxylic acid compound into the first hollow mixer having fine structures as a reaction region from the first hollow channel portion and the second hollow channel portion to obtain the third solution containing the polybenzoxazole precursor. The method for producing the terminal-blocking type polybenzoxazole resin comprises introducing and mixing the third solution obtained above and the fourth solution containing a terminal-blocking compound into the second hollow channel mixer having fine structures as a reaction region of the polybenzoxazole precursor with the a terminal-blocking compound from the third hollow channel portion and the fourth hollow channel portion.
