PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail vehicle having a lightweight and low-noise floor structure. SOLUTION: In a railroad vehicle with a vehicle body 10 mounted on a truck 20, a floor member of the underframe of the vehicle body 10 is formed of a hollow section 30 from the truck on one end side in the traveling direction of the vehicle body to a truck end on the truck side. A floor of the vehicle body between the truck and a truck on the other end side is formed of a single section 40. The single section is placed on a transverse beam 23 welded to a side beam 21, and an end in the extruding direction of the hollow section 30 and an end in the extruding direction of the single section are placed on one transverse beam welded to the side beam 21, and welded thereto to constitute the railroad vehicle.
