PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact bottle holding device capable of holding the tip of a bottle. SOLUTION: This holding device includes: a central shaft 5; an inner cylinder 3 fitted to the central shaft 5; three or more finger members 2 fitted to the outer peripheral part of the inner cylinder 3 to freely open and close; an opening holding means 23 for energizing the finger members 2 in the opening direction to retain the opening state; and an outer cylinder 4 for energizing the finger members 2 in the closing direction, wherein the inner peripheral surface of each finger member 2 is provided with split female screws 21 separated from each other in the circumferential direction to be fitted into a male screw part B1, and the inner cylinder 3 is fitted to freely move in two ways in the axial direction Z of the central shaft 5, whereby when the finger members 2 are closed in the closing direction, the finger members 2 are moved in the axial direction Z to enable the split female screws 21 to fit into the male screw part B1.
