PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press cutter which eliminates the need for finishing of a cut surface. SOLUTION: In the press cutter which holds a material between a female blade die and a male blade die to be fitted to each other through the relative movement, and cuts the material into a shape of the male blade die, the cut dimension of the female blade die is set to be the same as that of a completed product, the clearance of the male blade die to the female blade die is set to be a very small value close to zero, and a blade tip portion of the female blade die is chamfered and/or curved. The thickness of the chamfered or the curved portion of the blade tip portion of the female blade die is set to be 15-40% of the material thickness. A side face portion of a blade of the female blade die is formed smooth. In addition, the cut material is held by a face of the male blade die and a bottom face of the female blade die after the material is cut, and upper and lower faces of the cut material are formed.
