The drum (10) for the treatment of leathers, fabrics and suchlike has a structure manufactured from a polymer material which in its inner surface comprises covers of polymer materials for the connecting devices (31) of the structure with its outer support frame (29,30), covers for the hatches of the loading and inspection door, covers for the internal surfaces of the rotating hollow shafts (11,12) of the drum and covers for optional other metal components inside the drum.
