The guide rail (1, 13, 14, 15) comprises numerous functional areas such as at least one guide (3) for a floor limb (4), a guide (5) for rollers (6) or pinion of an electro-mechanical motor (7) and a guide channel (8) for at least one cable. The guide for the floor limb and the guide for the rollers or the pinion may lie over one another or next to one another or in a plane. The guide rail may have a through-bridge (10) in a wall for the guide and may be single or multi-part. The guide channel for the cable may be sealed in a detachable covering (9), whilst the guide rail may be made from a light metal or plastic.
