A fastening device for locator jigs in straightening benches comprises a jig (2) having a base (3), a support (4) for the jig (2) with complementary shape with respect to the base (3) of the jig (2) and having at least one groove (8) at a lateral surface (7) thereof. A pivot pin (5) is permanently installed in the base (3) of the jig (2) and it is removably engaged in the groove (8) to lock the jig (2) in a determined position. A fastening method for locator jigs in straightening benches comprises the steps of engaging a jig (2) having an eccentric pivot pin (5) and an inverse cup shaped base (3) on a support (4) with complementary shape with respect to the base (3) and having, in lateral position, a groove (8). Rotating the eccentric pivot pin (5) around its axis (12) in such a way that it engages with the groove (8) of the support (4) to lock the jig (2) in a determined position.
